So 6 years ago we had to put down a great dog, Jake. He passed on 07/07/07. To Sierra he hung the moon. She loved him so much. 6 years later, 07/06/13, Sierra is now with him again. My heart is so heavy. She was my own very first canine child. She was the best puppy ever, such a good girl. I'm going to miss her incredibly, and that silly smiley face, super bad breath, and beautiful eyes. She was so loyal and loving, there just couldn't be a better dog.
A few months back we brought a rescue puppy in to our family, Buster. He really respected Sierra and was very cautious with her. Sometimes he would get frustrated because he really wanted her to play, but she would just stare at him, and he'd settle right on down. He'll never be a replacement, but it sure is nice to have someone furry to cuddle with when you have a giant hole in your heart.
We'll miss you so much, sweet puppers. Say hi to Jake for us.
